Haaland, Rodri Will Join Real Madrid –Riquelme

Real Madrid presidential candidate Enrique Riquelme is standing firm on his bold election promises to sign Erling Haaland and Rodri from Manchester City, claiming Haaland has a release clause and presenting signed documents to back his superstar transfer claims.

Riquelme is mounting a dramatic challenge against incumbent president Florentino Pérez ahead of the Real Madrid elections. His campaign strategy features several high-stakes claims.

City is completely dismissing the claims as untrue, asserting there are no release clauses in Haaland’s massive contract and exploring legal action against the unauthorized use of their players in the Spanish election.

Haaland’s representatives, Rafaela Pimenta and his father Alfie, have also debunked the rumours.

However, Riquelme has vowed to bring in the Man City duo as his star signings.

“Well, it’s part of the game. Better than you, nobody knows it. It also happened with Figo; this is part of football,” Riquelme said via his X handle.

“Protecting the player, we had spoken before and after, also with Pablo (Barquero), Rodri’s representative. I know perfectly well that then you have to talk to City.

“They are different circumstances, Rodri’s than Haaland’s, but you have to talk to City. We have maximum respect for the club.”

Erling Haaland is currently in the best and most lethal form of his career, regularly shattering scoring records for both Manchester City and Norway.

He recently became the fastest player in Premier League history to reach 100 goals, achieving the milestone in a remarkably short span.

He consistently outpaces his own record-breaking seasons, with multi-goal performances that often see him outscoring entire squads in the English top flight.
