As frenetic reports continue spreading about the impending exit of Nigeria’s latest rave of the moment, Zadok Yohanna from AIK Stockholm of Sweden, a lad from Grass Runners FC of Sagamu, Angelo Agbejoye has been tipped to replace him.

Sports247 reports that the lad, whose full name is Angelo Agbejoye Hountondji, previously had trials at Manchester City of England and Hannover 96 of Germany, while also attracting interest from FC Copenhagen of Denmark and Benfica of Portugal.
With Zadok edging closer to a deal with Brighton & Hove Albion of England, attention has shifted in the direction of Agbejoye as the most plausible kid to take his place at AIK.
Officials of the Swedish top flight club have reportedly held productive discussions with the management of Grass Runners FC, with a view towards gaining a credible deal that would take Agbejoye to Stockholm this month.
Agbejoye, who plays mostly as a right-side winger and is in this year’s Nigerian under-20 national team, Flying Eagles, is being viewed by AIK as a very strong option under consideration to strengthen their attack ahead of next season.
A post on X by Philipp Hinze @philipphinze24 added: “Angelo Agbejoye (18/🇳🇬) is a candidate for AIK Stockholm as a potential replacement for Zadok Yohanna (18/🇳🇬), who has reached a verbal agreement with Brighton.
“Talks are ongoing between the player’s representatives and AIK. The young Nigerian is one of several candidates under consideration, but he is also attracting interest from other clubs, including FC Copenhagen and Benfica.
“Agbejoye wants to move to Europe this summer. Last year, he had trial spells with Hannover 96 and Manchester City, among others. At the moment, he is preparing with Nigeria’s U20 national team for the AFCON qualifiers.”
