The Nigerian trio of Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey and Samuel Chukwueze might end up having Liverpool’s immediate past manager, Arne Slot, as their new coach at Fulham of England, Sports247 gathered.
Although nothing concrete has been revealed about the next gaffer to take charge of Iwobi, Bassey, Chukwueze and their teammates at Craven Cottage, top shots of the London-based club have already confirmed efforts to get a replacement for Marco Silva.

It would interest Iwobi, Bassey and Chukwueze to learn that their club’s egg heads have drawn up a three-man shortlist, from which they will select a successor who will take over the saddle vacated by Benfica-bound Silva.
This comes after Fulham confirmed that the 48-year-old Silva has already agreed terms to replace Jose Mourinho at Benfica of Portugal, meaning Iwobi, Bassey and Chukwueze will surely meet a new man in charge when they report for pre-season.
The Standard newspaper adds, “It’s understood that Ipswich’s Kieran McKenna is the front runner, with Oliver Glasner also of interest. The West London club have now added Arne Slot, Thomas Frank and Liam Rosenior to their shortlist.”
