
Action will commence on May 4th in this year’s Nigerian National League (NNL) Super-4 with a clash between Sporting Lagos FC and Ranchers Bees of Kaduna at the refurbished Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, Ogun State, Sports247 reports.
The same evening will also feature a clash between Doma United and Inter Lagos FC, as all four private-owned clubs newly promoted to the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) will lock horns on the first day of this year’s NNL Super-4.
This is sequel to details provided on Friday during a well-attended draw ceremony that was witnessed by NNL top shots, some club owners, coaches of the four participating teams, journalists and a couple of ex-internationals.
Promoters of this year’s Super-4, Toptier Sports Management’s chief executive officer, Mrs. Chichi Nwoko announced a total cash flow of N16m for participating teams in the competition that will determine Nigeria’s lower division champions, who will go home with N10m.
Nwoko dislosed during the draw at Marriott Hotel, Ikeja GRA, Lagos: “Toptier Sports Management is glad to announce that the winner of this NNL Super Four will be rewarded with the sum of ₦10 million, while the three other participating clubs will go home with ₦2 million each.”
