Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey May Get New Coach At Fulham Of England Early in November

The Nigerian duo of Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey may end up having a new gaffer as their coach at Fulham in England early in the coming month, Sports247 reports.

Iwobi and Bassey may get to play the remaining weeks of the ongoing English Premier League season under a new tactician because their current boss, Alvaro Arbeloa, is struggling for results.

Furthermore, stunning news for Iwobi and Bassey indicates that the 43-year-old Arbeloa has already been given until the next international break to get better results in order to keep his job.

Despite Bassey hitting personal top form as captain of the side and Iwobi getting a good shift in midfield, the Cottagers are struggling in the EPL, thereby putting heat on Arbeloa, who stepped in for Marco Silva in the summer.

Sadly for Arbeloa, his days at Craven Cottage have been turbulent and akin to the chaotic few months he spent as interim manager at Real Madrid of Spain, thereby suggesting he could be waving goodbye to Iwobi, Bassey and others next month

A report by Tribal Football adds: “The appointment hasn’t quite gone to plan, however, with the west London club sitting rock bottom of the Premier League table with just two points from their opening six games.

“Fulham were beaten by Ipswich over the weekend, as the newly promoted sided scored twice in the final four minutes of the game to secure a 2-1 win.

“Now, Fulham have given Arbeloa until the next international break to turn things around. That’s six games across all competitions, including potential relegation six-pointers against Coventry and Hull, before the break in early November.”

Sports247 gathered further that prominent names that are already being tipped to take over the saddle in charge of Iwobi, Bassey and their pals are former Tottenham Hotspur boss Thomas Frank and Kieran McKenna.
