Nigerian professional wrestler, Isaac Odugbesan (Oba Femi) will tango American veteran, Brock Lesnar this Saturday in a third level attraction of World Wrestling Entertainment’s (WWE) SummerSlam this Saturday at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, USA.
Sports247 reports that this in contrast with the first bout between both rival, which was the first match-up of Night 2 at WrestleMania 42, when Lesnar lost to Oba Femi, then bounced back to draw level at 1-1 in their head-to-head at WWE’s Clash In Italy.
This is also in stark contrast with all expectations that Oba Femi versus Lesnar 3 would be the main attraction on Saturday night, as both fighters have been pegged back to number three by two high-profile title clashes – Undisputed WWE Championship and Women’s World Championship.
Both fighters will now tango for the third (and likely decisive) time on the first instalment of WWE’s 2026 SummerSlam, which will be followed by another roll call of action on Sunday, making it the second consecutive year that the programme will be a two-night PLE.
A promo by WWE read in part, “The second of the Big 4 PLEs (WrestleMania, SummerSlam, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble) followed in WrestleMania’s footsteps and will bring a jam-packed weekend of action with 12 matches currently announced between both nights.”
