Nigerian-born female basketball star, Nneka Ogwumike stole the show for Washington Sparks, as she helped her team pull off a commanding 106-92 win over Indiana Fever, who were undermined by fitness isssues with their marquee player, Caitlin Clark.

Sports247 reports that, while Clark had to bow out early, after making it back to the court on Wednesday night in Los Angeles, Ogwumike rolled on all cylinders with The Spark and helped her side dump The Fever in another epic game of USA’s Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA).
Although Clark dropped nine points on her return from a back injury, had four rebounds and three assists to go with it, while also shooting 4-of-12 from the field and 1-of-6 from behind the arc, Ogwumike helped The Sparks snap a three-game losing stretch and get their second win in seven games.
Clark entered the game averaging 21.2 points and 8.2 assists per game, which is good good for fourth and second in the WNBA’s unfolding season, but Kelsey Mitchell led The Fever with 29 points while shooting 9-of-18 from the field.
The loss dropped Indiana Fever to 12-9 on this year’s cards, as Ogwumike led The Sparks with 24 points and eight rebounds, while Rae Burrell finished with 22 points, and Dearica Hamby notched 21 points to help their team sit at 9-11 on the season’s updated statistics.
