The 25-year-old full-back arrives at Karlsruher SC looking to relaunch his career after an injury-disrupted spell limited his playing opportunities despite previously showcasing his attacking quality with an impressive assist record in the Bundesliga.

“I’m delighted to begin this new chapter with Karlsruher SC. After everything I’ve been through, I’m ready to fight for my place, work hard every day and help the team achieve its goals,” Kimberly said.

The move offers the defender a fresh opportunity to rediscover his best form and establish himself as a key figure in one of Germany’s most competitive divisions.

Despite being born in Germany, Kimberly remains eligible to represent Nigeria at international level, leaving the door open for a future Super Eagles call-up should his performances continue to improve.

“Every setback has made me stronger. My focus now is on staying fit, performing consistently and taking my career to the next level,” he added.

Karlsruher SC will be hoping Kimberly’s experience, versatility and attacking qualities from full-back will strengthen their squad as they prepare for the new campaign.

For Kimberly, the transfer represents an opportunity to put injury frustrations behind him and begin a new chapter with renewed ambition.
