Galatasaray of Turkey striker, Victor Osimhen has sensationally entered the summer transfer radar of Manchester United, but his chances of moving to Old Trafford in the coming month are facing several intimidating hurdles.
Sports247 gathered that, apart from the fact that Galatasaray do not want to sell him for any amount in the world, there is also a caveat that his arrival would depend on United’s talks with Marcus Rashford and Robert Lewandowski.

Although reports out of England indicate that Osimhen is seen as the main target for United this summer, Michael Carrick’s side are also looking in the direction of welcoming Rashford back from his loan spell at FC Barcelona of Spain.
In addition to the hurdle posed by a likely return for Rashford, there is also interest in Lewandowski by top officials of The Red Devils, who finished third in the past season and secured a return to the UEFA Champions League.
The reality of once again playing in Europe has helped United attract world class players in the summer transfer window, as the 20-time English champions also turn their eyes towards staging a strong challenge for the EPL title next season.
A report by Caught Offside revealed, “Osimhen is viewed as the dream target for United’s manager Michael Carrick, who is keen on bringing in the pacey striker, who has been linked with a move to the Premier League for a number of years.
“Osimhen has bagged 54 goals and 13 assists from 69 appearances for Gala in the Turkish Super Lig, Champions League and Europa League across a two-year period, while also coming close to signing for Chelsea before a move collapsed.
“As it stands, Marcus Rashford is not joining Barcelona after his successful loan move. This, as well as his high price tag, may cause trouble for Osimhen. If Rashford stays and thrives under Carrick, there would be no room for the Nigerian.
“United are also looking at Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and Bournemouth’s Eli Junior Kroupi due to their Premier League experience, as well as Dusan Vlahovic and Robert Lewandowski, who are both available for free.”
