Arsenal midfielder, Eberechi Eze has come out with a strong suggestion that his club’s historic conquest of the English Premier League title this season can be a huge source of motivation for England’s national team at the World Cup.
Sports247 reports that Eze further believes the presence of three other key Arsenal players – Bukayo Saka, Noni Madueke and Declan Rice – along with him in England’s squad is motivating The Three Lions to go all the way.

The Nigerian-born former Queens Park Rangers and Crystal Palace wavemaker added that he is eager to get enough playing time with Thomas Tuchel’s squad in order to propel them towards their first FIFA World Cup title since 1966.
He pointed out that winning the ongoing Mundial would cut a long barren streak for England, in much the same way The Gunners’ EPL conquest this season ended a 22-year wait, after ‘The Invincibles’ won it in 2004.
While also pointing out that his move to Arsenal helped him grow personally and realise his full potential, Eze asserted that the presence of Arsenal’s title-winning stars in England’s squad has brought a conquering mentality to their camp.
Eze retorted, “Winning gives you belief, a trust in yourself that you can go all the way. We’ll all be using that for sure. I’m grateful to God that I’m able to live out these moments and continue to grow as a player.
“It’s serious for us all. We know that it’s going to take everything for us to go all the way. We’ve all got the right mentality and want to enjoy the whole process regardless of what stage we’re at.
“We’re more focused on what needs to be done to achieve what we want to achieve. It gives you a different level of confidence and a lot of players experiencing that is only going to help us here.”
Sports247 reports further that Eze is already looking forward to finally getting his World Cup debut, with the possibility of a starting role for him in Tuesday’s all-important clash with Ghana, which could determine England’s next stage ticket.
