Complete Sports has been awarded the YouTube Silver Creator Award, popularly known as the Silver Play Button, after surpassing the 100,000-subscriber milestone on the video-sharing platform.
The award, YouTube’s first official Creator Award, was accompanied by a congratulatory message from YouTube Chief Executive Officer, Neal Mohan, who commended Complete Sports for building a thriving audience and community.
YouTube CEO Applauds Complete Sports’ Growing Community
“We’re proud to honour your impressive milestone of reaching 100,000 subscribers with the Silver Creator Award. Congratulations!” Mohan wrote in a letter accompanying the award.
The YouTube CEO praised the platform’s growing audience engagement, noting that subscribers had discovered the channel through different means but remained because of the quality of content and the community it has built.

Complete Sports Sets Sights on Gold Play Button
Reacting to the achievement, the Manager, Online Division/Digital Marketing Division at Complete Communications Limited, Dr Solomon Ojeagbase, expressed delight at the recognition and thanked subscribers and staff members for their contributions.

The Silver Play Button is presented to creators who attain 100,000 subscribers and satisfy YouTube’s eligibility requirements, including adherence to the platform’s community guidelines and content standards.
Complete Sports now sets its sights on the Gold Creator Award, which is presented to channels that reach one million subscribers.
