Young Nigerian heritage defender Chetam Ezenwata played a major role in helping Charlton Athletic U18 secure the Professional Development League national title after a convincing 3-0 victory over Wigan Athletic U18 in the final at The Valley.
The Professional Development League is one of England’s top youth football competitions, structured into Northern and Southern divisions and featuring clubs primarily from the English Football League system, including teams from the Championship, League One, and League Two.

At the conclusion of the regular season, the winners of both regional divisions meet in a national final to determine the overall champion.
