The highly-rated midfield pair have been rewarded for their impressive performances in the Nationwide League One (NLO), with the Nigeria Football Federation directing both players to report to camp in Abuja.

The call-up marks another significant milestone in the development of the two youngsters, who have steadily risen through Nigeria’s youth football ranks in recent years.

Salaudeen and Adeleke are no strangers to international football.

Both players represented Nigeria’s U-15 national team during the two-legged international friendlies against Morocco in 2023, where they gained valuable experience on the international stage.

Their progress continued with appearances for Nigeria at the African School Games in Algeria in 2024 before featuring again at the 2025 edition of the competition in Burkina Faso.

Their latest invitation is seen as recognition of their consistent performances and development for both club and country.

The duo have been among the standout performers for Buruj FC and are now in line for another opportunity to impress the national team coaches.

The Nigeria U-17 side is expected to use the trip to China as part of preparations for future international competitions, with several young players hoping to secure long-term places in the squad.

Buruj Football Club has congratulated both players on the achievement and expressed confidence in their ability to represent the club and the country with distinction.

The invitation provides another opportunity for Salaudeen and Adeleke to continue their journey through Nigeria’s national team system as they seek to establish themselves among the country’s next generation of football stars.
