Nigeria’s youth female national team, Falconets’ coach, Moses Aduku is staying confident ahead of his squad’s clash away to Malawi in the second leg of their final qualifier for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, Sports247 reports.
Despite holding a 2-0 lead over their opponents, who they struggled to defeat last Saturday at Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne, Aduku said his players are mentally, tactically and physically read for the reverse fixture.

Although the former youth international midfielder acknowledged that Saturday’s match, which is scheduled to begin at 2pm Nigeria time at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe, will not be easy, he is retaining confidence for victory.
His confidence is boosted in how his side swept past Rwanda 5-0 on aggregate and then defeated Senegal 3-1 on their way to this final round, while also noting that all of his players are eager to clinch the ticket to Poland.
Aduku declared during the pre-match conference in Lilongwe, “We are here to play and to win. The players understand the importance of this match, and we are fully prepared mentally, tactically, and physically for the challenge ahead.”
Sports247 gathered further that Aduku and his crew members have reviewed the team’s performance in the first leg, following which they emphasized the need to maintain concentration, stay focused and retain intensity throughout the encounter.
