Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi has described Nigeria’s friendly match against Poland as an important test for the team following their 2-2 draw.

Reacting after the encounter, the Beşiktaş J.K. midfielder explained that the game allowed the Super Eagles experiment with different tactical ideas across both halves.
“It was a good test for us as a team,” Ndidi said.
According to the Super Eagles captain, Poland provided strong opposition that challenged Nigeria in several areas during the match.
“They are a very good side and it was a strong challenge,” he implied.
Ndidi also highlighted Nigeria’s attacking play and overall dominance during large parts of the game as major positives from the fixture.
