Former Super Falcons player and ex-Falconets assistant coach Gift Okunwa-Igunbor has praised Falconets head coach Moses Aduku following Nigeria’s qualification for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Poland.
Reacting after the team secured qualification, Okunwa-Igunbor described Aduku as one of the leading coaches in Nigerian women’s football.

“Moses Aduku is one of the top coaches in women’s football,” she said.
According to the former Falconets assistant coach, the Nigerian team showed excellent preparation and discipline throughout the qualification campaign.
“The team prepared very well and deserved qualification,” she implied.
Okunwa-Igunbor also praised the overall performances delivered by the Falconets during the qualifiers.
“The girls played with confidence and maturity,” she noted.
Despite celebrating qualification, the former Nigerian international warned the Falconets against becoming complacent ahead of the tournament.
“The work is not finished yet,” she added.
Okunwa-Igunbor stressed that Nigeria should now aim to surpass its previous achievements at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup by reaching new heights.
“The target should be to go beyond the quarter-finals or semi-finals,” she stressed.
Nigeria remains one of Africa’s strongest teams in women’s youth football and continues carrying major expectations at international tournaments.
