Sports247 reports that Ajayi was spotted in front of his teammates during a delayed stopover at Manchester Airport ahead of the squad’s flight out of England for a celebration party in God’s Own Country.

What was meant to be a smooth flight out on a private jet faced unexpected hitches when the plane appeared to suffer some technical laxities, which left Ajayi and his teammates almost stranded ahead of their celebration party.

Although Ajayi and the other players were initially flustered by the sudden turnaround of events, they started killing time by posing for photographs in the private jet on the tarmac and later moved to an airport hotel.

They chatted with fans and posed for pictures, but Ajayi and the other players were not happy at their dream trip being delayed, as they were supposed to be in Vegas hours earlier, but ended up at DoubleTree by Hilton on the grounds of Manchester Airport.

“They were on the private plane and there was an issue. They were on the tarmac for a few hours. They were saying it was important they did not miss a pre-booked Vegas pool party while others suggested flying to Ibiza instead.

“They had some beer, pizza and fried chicken while they were discussing what to do with some suggesting trying to fly to Vegas from Liverpool,” a report by UK’s SunSport noted, without providing details about the cause of their delay.
