Friendly: Tunisia Suffer Humiliating 5-0 Defeat To Belgium

It was not the best of World Cup preparations for Tunisia, as they suffered a heavy 5-0 defeat to Belgium in their final time up fixture before the start of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The Carthage Eagles are now winless in their last three matches – drawing one and losing two.

Belgium took the lead midway through the first half thanks to Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard.

Charles de Ketelaere added a second on 53 minutes before Tunisia had midfielder Ismael Gharbi sent off just after the hour mark for receiving his secins caution.

With a numerical advantage, Belgium turned the screw. Kevin de Bruyne and Dodi Lukebakio added further strikes before Raskin completed the rout.

Tunisia are in Group F alongside Sweden, Japan and the Netherlands.

The North Africans will open their campaign against Sweden on June 15.
