Technical Director of the Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Martin Melandi, has expressed excitement over the level of talent on display at the ongoing National School Volleyball Championships, describing it as a strong foundation for the future of the sport in Nigeria.
Speaking during the event, Melandi highlighted the competition as a key platform for identifying young players who could represent the country at higher levels.
“The talent is exciting,” he said.

“We have discovered players here before,” he implied.
Melandi revealed that his focus is on scouting athletes who can be developed for upcoming competitions, including the African School Sports Games.
