FA Cup: Guardiola Hints At Man City Rotations Vs Southampton

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has hinted at significant squad rotation for the upcoming FA Cup semi-final against Southampton at Wembley on Saturday.

Fatigue is a major concern for the Spanish tactician after a busy schedule, and he signaled that he will bring in fresh legs for the weekend despite the competition’s high stakes.

“Now we have to think about it a lot because I had a lot of doubts about the line-up on Wednesday because of the fatigue on Sunday.

“In previous weeks we didn’t have a lot of fatigue as it was only a game a week. Now it will be three in a row in three days, go to London.

“I know that if we win it will be a good decision and if we lose it will be a bad decision.

Asked about the sort of changes, he added: “I don’t know what I’m going to do. We will think. We need players with rhythm and ones who haven’t played.

“We will see. I have two nights to sleep and we will see.”
