Super Eagles’ striker, Terem Moffi has found two strong sunmner transfer openings coming his way, as offers have reportedly landed on his agent’s table from SV Hamburg of Germany and Besiktas of Turkey, Sports247 gathered.
The develpment comes a few days after OGC Nice of France confirmed that the fluid striker is surplus to requirements, as he is not in their plans for the coming season, thereby leaving him with a charge to get a new club this summer.
Dramatically, Moffi could also not tie down a full contract at FC Porto of Portugal, where he spent the second half of last season on loan from Nice, and the former Lorient of France attacker appeared lost in the middle, until two strong offers popped out of the blue.
A report by Tribal Football added, “Bundesliga side Hamburger SV have emerged as the latest club interested in signing Nigerian striker Terem Moffi from Ligue 1 outfit OGC Nice this summer.
“The 27-year-old returned to France after spending the second half of last season on loan at Portuguese champions FC Porto and is expected to leave Nice before the transfer window closes.
“Moffi’s future has become increasingly uncertain after Nice president, Maurice Cohen confirmed that the club are willing to sell several players as they reshape their squad.
“Hamburger SV are monitoring the situation and could make a move to strengthen their attack. However, Turkish giants Besiktas are also interested in the former Lorient striker, who joined Nice permanently in 2023.”
