Cameroon defender Colette Ndzana has declared the Indomitable Lionesses’ readiness for their 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final clash against defending champions, the Super Falcons of Nigeria.
The highly anticipated encounter will take place tonight at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca.
It will be the 14th WAFCON meeting between the two African heavyweights, with Nigeria enjoying a commanding record in the fixture.
The Super Falcons have recorded nine victories in open play and two more via penalty shoot-outs against Cameroon. The Indomitable Lionesses have managed just one victory, while one other encounter ended in a draw without a shoot-out.

Nigeria also came out on top when the two sides met in the quarter-finals of the 2022 edition, securing a 1-0 victory.
Despite Cameroon’s poor record against the Super Falcons, Ndzana is confident her side can turn the tide this time around.
The defender declared that the Indomitable Lionesses are determined to end their barren run against the reigning African champions and secure a place in the semi-finals.
“We need to go into this game. We must be calm and play the game. Two big nations, two big teams. We shall be ready. We want to break any existing barriers. We shall remain focused. We know that this is a quarterfinal. We are going into it with a great deal of humility,” Ndzana was quoted by CAFonline.
