Defending champions Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will aim to finish top of Group B when they face Burkina Faso in their final group-stage match of the 2026 WAFU B U-20 Championship on Sunday (today).
The Flying Eagles have already booked their place in the semi-finals after winning their opening two matches of the competition.
Abdu Maikaba’s side began their title defence with an impressive 4-2 victory over arch-rivals Ghana before easing to a convincing 3-0 win against Togo in their second outing.

Burkina Faso also head into the encounter unbeaten, having recorded a victory over Togo and played out a draw against Ghana to collect four points from two games.
Nigeria sit atop Group B with a perfect six points and require only a draw against the Young Stallions to secure first place and head into the semi-finals as group winners.
A victory would also maintain the Flying Eagles’ unbeaten run as they continue their quest to successfully defend the regional title.
