Two-time Super Bowl winning quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is not ready to hang up the pads just yet.
Garoppolo was reportedly considering retirement throughout the offseason after not signing a contract in free agency.
However, as reported by NFL Network insider Mike Garofolo, the 12-year NFL veteran is keeping his name in the market and would come back to play in the right situation.
Last season, Garoppolo played as the backup to Matthew Stafford for the Los Angeles Rams.
There are no teams rushing to sign the 34-year-old quarterback, according to Garofolo, who says an injury to another signal caller may be needed to get ‘Jimmy G’ on a team.
Among the potential landing spots includes the Rams, who recently drafted Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson.

For some time, the Arizona Cardinals appeared to be interested to have Garoppolo competing with Jacoby Brissett.
It appears that Rams coach Sean McVay would be interested, per NFL Network, as Simpson is joined by Stafford and Stetson Bennett as the competitors for the backup position.
Adding Garoppolo would provide a better option in the No. 2 role for the Super Bowl front-runners.
Across his 12 seasons, Garoppolo played in 85 games and started 64 of them – including 55 games for the San Francisco 49ers, with whom he started in Super Bowl LIV.
His accolades include a 43-21-0 record as a starter with 15,828 passing yards, 96 touchdown passes and 52 interceptions.
Garoppolo won his two Super Bowl titles as a backup to Tom Brady with the New England Patriots.
