Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes and wife Brittany are officially in town for the wedding of the century.
The quarterback’s teammate Travis Kelce’s wedding celebration with pop sensation Taylor Swift will take place in front of 1,000 guests at Madison Square Garden in New York on Friday evening.
Famous guests will include Selena Gomez and her new husband Benny Blanco , supermodel Karlie Kloss, Cara Delevingne, Zoe Kravitz, Ed Sheeran, Suki Waterhouse and, one would assume, her significant other Robert Pattinson, and the Haim sisters – Este, Danielle and Alana.
Mahomes – and a number of Kelce’s other NFL comrades – are also expected to have made the star-studded guestlist for Friday’s extravaganza.
However, the couple, who have become close friends of Kelce and Swift, have kept a low profile in the Big Apple – until now.
Fans had not caught a glimpse of the Mahomeses out and about in the city nor were they captured in any photos from Thursday’s rehearsal dinner at the iconic arena.

But Brittany finally confirmed that they had touched down in New York with some snaps from a night out on the town.
On Friday morning, she reposted a photo from Paige Buechele, the wife of Buffalo Bills backup quarterback Shane Buechele, from a gathering at Meduza Mediterrania, a swanky restaurant in the Meatpacking District.
In the image, Brittany and Paige posed alongside Lyndsay Bell, the wife of former NFL player Blake Bell, and Miranda Hogue, who is married to Mahomes’s former Texas Tech teammate Summitt Hogue.
Brittany looked gorgeous in a camel-colored knitted peplum top from Khaite and a miniskirt of a similar color.
She also shared two photos of herself and Mahomes snuggling up to one another at the same location.
It is unclear when the group outing took place. Taylor and Travis held a more intimate rehearsal dinner on Thursday evening.
Kelce’s fellow tight end George Kittle and his wife Claire were spotted attending the soiree, as well as NFL reporters Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson. However, it is not known if the Mahomes were present.
The couple are widely expected to be in attendance at Friday night’s main bash at ‘The World’s Most Famous Arena.’

Mahomes has forged a strong friendship with tight end Kelce during their time together on the Chiefs, while Swift quickly bonded with Brittany on game days.
Kelce and Swift partied late into the night on Thursday for their ‘rehearsal dinner’ with 100 of their closest friends, including Gigi Hadid, her partner Bradley Cooper, Gomez and Jack Antonoff.
There are conflicting reports about whether Swift and Kelce have already married, but there are plans for an enormous party with 1,000 guests at Madison Square Garden today.
The celebration will shut down multiple blocks of midtown Manhattan around Madison Square Garden in a similar manner to when the New York Knicks were in the NBA Finals this year.
