Coventry City midfielder, Frank Onyeka has promised ‘to give everything’ and out in the very best of his efforts in order to help the newly promoted outfit stay up in the English Premier League this season, Sports247 reports.
While also relishing his return to the top-flight league in England, where he previously starred for Brentford, after getting his career breakthrough at FC Midtjylland of Denmark, Onyeka believes Coventry will need his experience.

Onyeka gave the vow right after Coventry confirmed that they had signed him in a full contract, following his hugely successful half season with the club in the past campaign, when he arrived in January on loan from Brentford.
The Super Eagles’ midfielder, who is fondly called ‘The Tank,’ initially joined The Sky Blues on a short-term deal but the EPL returnees have now extended his stay into a full contract during the summer transfer window.
The 28-year-old Onyeka, who played a key role in helping Frank Lampard’s side win the Championship title, with 14 appearances and a crucial goal in their victory over Derby County in April., is now planning big for life back in the top-flight.
Onyeka, who played 75 EPL games during his time with Brentford, declared: “I’m really excited for the new season with Coventry. When I first joined, I came here to win the Championship and help Coventry get promoted to the Premier League.
“I’m really happy back in the Premier League. I will give everything to the team, fight for every ball, fight for my teammates and bring my experience. My ambition now is to help the Club stay in the Premier League and finish as high as we can.”
