A likely summer transfer for Sevilla of Spain striker, Adams Akor could fetch his La Liga club a princely €24m profit, as they are holding out for a deal that would be worth an amount in the range of €30m, Sports247 reports.
The development has occasioned Sevilla’s unceremonious rejection of an offer worth less than €10m from newly-promoted Venezia of Italy, who want to revive memories of the Nigerian tradition they used to have in their squad.

Past Nigerian stars who have graced the Venice-based clubside include David Okereke, Tyronne Ebuehi, Kenneth Zeigbo, Kolawole Agodirin, and Alvin Okoro, but the Italian Serie A returnees may not snatch Akor if they do not increase their bid.
Dramatically, Venezia’s bid is being rivalled by tempting offers from bigger clubs for the 26-year-old Akor, whose sterling performances have also attracted interest from Olympique Marseille of France and a couple of teams in England.
All this comes after the Super Eagles’ breakout striker enjoyed a strong campaign with Sevilla last season, scoring 10 goals and providing three assists in 32 games across all competitions, but he remains under contract in Seville until 2029.
A report by Transferfeed adds, “The Italian side’s bid is believed to be worth under €10m, a figure the Spanish club consider far below their valuation. Sevilla are reportedly holding out for a fee in the region of €20-30m for the forward.”
Sports247 gathered further that Sevilla could hold out for a huge profit on their investment, as Akor joined them from Montpellier of France in January 2025 for around €6m, but he has now become an important part of their squad.
