Another Australian World Cup game, another viral chant from the Socceroos faithful, as they took aim at Donald Trump yet again.
Following Australia’s win over Turkiye, fans took to the streets with a couple of rather spiky chants.
The first was aimed at their opponents at the time as they broke out ‘Da da da da da da da da da da da/Turkey’s in the bin/In the bin, Turkey’s in the bin!’ to the tune of Give It Up by KC and the Sunshine Band,
That was followed by a controversial number, ‘Aussie boys are on a bender/Donald Trump’s a sex offender.’
And now a video on TikTok shows the fans have made up a chant about the President’s immigration policy.
They could be heard singing ‘we’re getting deported’ to the tune of Seven Nation Army by The White Stripes.

The video on the social media platform has received over 168,000 likes and around 1 million views.
Trump’s stance on immigration has been very hardline with mass deportation a key tenet of his policy.
Under him, ICE has seen its operations and remit expanded continuously as he continues his crusade against ‘illegal immigrants.’
America’s current border and immigration policies have already impacted the World Cup on a number of occasions.
Ahead of the tournament starting, Somali referee Omar Artan was denied entry into America despite having a diplomatic passport aimed at easing any visa issues.
Artan was then subjected to an 11-hour interview ath the airport where he was eventually placed on a return flight to Istanbul.
Somalia features on President Donald Trump’s travel ban list and last month he said of Somali immigrants in America: ‘They’re all crooks.’
In January he called the nation ‘the worst country in the world’.
That hasn’t been the only incident that preceded the 2026 World Cup, as Iraqi World Cup star Aymen Hussein was held and questioned for almost seven hours after arriving at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport.
He was eventually allowed to enter, along with the rest of the Iraq squad, but the team’s photographer was barred from entering the country.

Iran had also fallen foul of these hardline policies as they were forced to have their base for the tournament in Mexico, despite all three of their group games being played on American soil.
They also saw a number of support staff denied visas for entry into America for the games they had to play there.
The nation’s soccer federation accused the US government of ‘vindictive behaviour’ in refusing visas for ‘key managerial and administrative members’ of the team.
‘You have now escalated the deliberate and discriminatory treatment against Iran’s national football team to its highest level,’ the embassy wrote Saturday on X, calling for world football’s governing body FIFA ‘to hold the US accountable for violations of its rules.’
Iran’s squad was also informed that they had to enter and then leave America on the same day of their matches.
Australia’s 0-0 draw with Paraguay was enough to see them finish second in Group D and book a tie with Egypt in the round of 32.
