Arsenal could be set for a Premier League dynasty – but only if they sign a new striker this summer.
That’s the view of Chelsea legend John Terry, who believes the Gunners could win the title in each of the next three years.

Mikel Arteta’s side clinched their first-top flight crown in 22 years in the 2025/26 season – finishing seven points clear at the top of the pile.
Many have tipped Arsenal to defend their title in the upcoming campaign – something they have never done previously.
In the three previous occasions that the north London giants won the Premier League, they finished second in the following term.
Forward thinking
Despite Arsenal scoring 71 Premier League goals – only bettered by Manchester City [77] – Terry believes a proven marksman up top should be the club’s priority this window.
It was only last summer which saw Arsenal sign Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon in a deal rising to £63.7million after his goalscoring exploits in Portugal.
From his two years at the club, the Sweden centre-forward banged in 97 goals in 102 appearances – winning back-to-back Primeira Liga titles.
And in his opening season at the Emirates Stadium, Gyokeres finished as Arsenal’s top scorer with 21 goals across all competitions.
Having found the back of the net on 14 occasions in the league, only six players scored more than the 28-year-old.
Though Arsenal have been urged to already cash in on the ex-Brighton man, and bring in Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez as his replacement.
Now, Terry has insisted that Arsenal must reinvest in a new leading striker, which will see them reap the rewards.

What has John Terry said about Arsenal?
Speaking on the White and Jordan show about Arsenal, who have identified Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers as their top target, Terry was asked whether he expects his former rivals to defend their title.
To which he said: “Yeah, I do actually.
“I think Arsenal, it’s theirs to lose for the next couple of years.
“I think they’ve got a really good squad of players.
“In terms of their squad, I think they’re missing an out-and-out striker that’s going to get in 20, 30 goals a season consistently.
“Look at the top sides over the last 20 years in the Premier League, they’ve all had it.

“Arsenal haven’t really got that.
“I think they’re one or two signings away from dominating the Premier League for the next two or three years, unfortunately.”
But Terry doesn’t hold out much hope for former employers Chelsea, who haven’t won the title since 2017 – when the iconic centre-back was part of their squad.
Commenting on what new boss Xabi Alonso must achieve in his first season after the Blues ended the season in tenth spot, Terry remarked: “I think Champions League football is going to be a big miss for us, so Champions League football.
“Are we going to win the Premier League? I don’t think we’re there yet.
“I think we’re a few years away from that, but I like the fact he’s coming in, I think he’s a forward thinking manager.

“I think he plays a really good style of football, and he’s young, he’s just present, just come out the game as well.
“So he’s got to understand these players more than anyone.
“I think any manager out there, whether you’re young or old, understanding the players, especially now of the way they are, is probably the biggest thing.”
What players could be heading to Arsenal this summer?
Arsenal confirmed their first signing this window on Thursday after turning Piero Hincapie’s loan spell into a permanent stay for £34.5m.
Along with Morgan Rogers, Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola is also on the club’s radar, along with Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi, who has starred at the World Cup with Morocco so far.
