Any slim hope that Galatasaray of Turkey striker, Victor Osimhen might move to Manchester United of England this summer is facing a stiff obstacle in his club’s transfer asking price.

Sports247 gathered that though Osimhen is rated top of a five-striker shortlist drawn up by United’s technical buffs, Gala’s €75m evaluation of the Super Eagles’ hitman is a major obstacle in The Red Devils’ quest.
The money factor is now reportedly playing a bigger challenge in Man U’s hunt for Osimhen than equally formidable interest by the club in Robert Lewandowski and the likely return of Marcus Rashford from his loan spell at Barcelona of Spain.
All odds once again appear daunting for Osimhen, who faced a similar stiff price tag at a point he felt a strong desire to leave SSC Napoli of Italy, after catching the eye of their Serie A rivals, Juventus.
However, the same way Napoli played hard to get back then, before Osimhen got a lifeline last minute deal with Galatasaray, is now recurring, with a hint that he will have to stay put in Istanbul for another season.
“The Nigerian forward’s form has been outstanding, with 22 goals in 33 appearances this season and 59 goals in 74 games overall for Galatasaray, but his valuation – following a €75m move – makes any deal extremely difficult.
“(Benjamin) Sesko impressed in his debut campaign, scoring 12 goals in 32 appearances, but The Red Devils believe another proven striker is needed to strengthen their attack.
“Alternatives include Jean-Philippe Mateta, based on his valuable Premier League experience, and Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, who offers power and elite finishing.
“Bournemouth’s Eli Junior Kroupi is viewed as a long-term option, while Robert Lewandowski is a shock short-term possibility for his leadership and mentorship qualities,” a report by Caught Offside revealed.
