South Africa’s Sports Minister Gayton McKenzie has called on prayer warriors in his country to help Bafana Bafana beat Czech Republic in Thursday’s FIFA World Cup 2026 Group A tie.
Bafana lost their opening game 2-0 to hosts Mexico and had two players sent off.
Czech Republic also started on a wrong note as they lost 2-1 to South Korea.
“Calling on all Prayer Warriors to pray for a big win for @BafanaBafana, let’s us be attacked by the spirit of attack today from the first whistle to the last, we must win today, we are going to win, we are Champions, let’s attack Boyz🇿🇦🕺🏽🕺🏽.”
