Super Eagles and Omonia Nicosia goalkeeper Francis Uzoho has declared that Nigeria remains fully focused ahead of the Unity Cup showdown against Zimbabwe.
Speaking before the encounter, Uzoho stressed that the Super Eagles are approaching the match with seriousness and confidence despite the growing attention around the fixture.

“We are fully focused on the game,” Uzoho said.

Uzoho also dismissed any suggestion that the Super Eagles could feel intimidated by Zimbabwe or any other opposition.
“We are not intimidated by anybody,” he noted.
The goalkeeper admitted that several newly invited players are still settling into the national team environment but insisted the atmosphere within camp remains positive.
“The new players are adapting well,” he added.
Nigeria enters the Unity Cup looking to rebuild confidence after recent struggles in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
“The pressure around the team is still very high,” many football observers believe.
Uzoho remains optimistic that the Super Eagles can begin the tournament strongly and deliver a convincing performance.
