Sports247 reports that, rather than bow to incessant pressure mounting from several clubs that are apparently desperate to buy Osimhen this summer, Ozbek stressed that the 2024 African Footballer of The Year is not for sale.

Despite growing interest in the all-action hitman from Chelsea of England, Juventus of Italy and Atletico Madrid of Spain, Ozbek affirmed that the Turkish Super Lig champions have no plans to sell Osimhen any time soon.

Atletico reportedly made a recent €150m bid for the herpic Osimhen, but Ozbek dismissed the news and stressed that Galatasaray remain determined to keep the hitman, despite any huge offer that comes along.

He added that the former Ultimate Strikers of Lagos, VfL Wolfsburg of Germany, Racing Charleroi of Belgium and Lille Metropole of France ace has been quite valuable to his Istanbul-based outfit and they want ut to continue next season.

Ozbek told Turkish website, Fotomac, “We didn’t buy Osimhen to sell him. He’s a player who adds great value to Galatasaray and loves Galatasaray very much. We want him to serve Galatasaray for many years to come. Osimhen is also very happy at Galatasaray.”

Sports247 reports further that Osimhen initially arrived at Gala on a season-long loan agreement with SSC Napoli of Italy in 2024, following which he helped them win the Super Lig and Turkish Cup double, then got a hefty full contract.
