Nigerian striker Toyosi Olusanya has joined Scottish Premiership club Aberdeen on a two-year deal, Completesports.com reports.
Olusanya moved to Pittodrie on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with Major League Soccer, MLS, side Houston Dynamo.
The 28-year-old becomes Aberdeen’s fifth addition of the summer, and returns to the club after a successful loan spell during the second half of last season.
Olusanya netted twice in 16 league appearances for the Dons.
Manager Robinson Happy With Striker’s Return
Speaking after securing the deal, manager Stephen Robinson said: “Toyosi made a really positive impact during his time with us last season and we’re delighted to bring him back to the Club.
“He gives us something different in the final third. His pace, power and energy make him a difficult opponent for defenders, while his work ethic and attitude are exactly what we want within the group.
“Having already spent six months here, he understands the expectations that come with representing Aberdeen Football Club and we believe there is much more to come from him. We’re looking forward to helping him continue his development and seeing the contribution he can make over the next two years.”

Olusanya Thrilled With Move
After putting pen to paper, Olusanya spoke to RedTV and admitted returning to Pittodrie was an easy decision.
“I am buzzing to be back,” Olusanya said.
“From the moment I arrived in January, I felt welcomed by everyone at the Club. The staff, the players and the supporters all made me feel at home.
“Coming in during the middle of a season isn’t always easy. I was still working my way back to full fitness and adapting to a new environment, but I felt I improved as the weeks went on and now I have the opportunity to start again with a full pre-season behind me.
“I know the manager well and I know exactly what he expects from me. That gives me a great platform to push on and show what I can do.
“Most importantly, I loved my time at Aberdeen. I enjoy living in the city, I understand what the Club means to people and I experienced first-hand the incredible backing we receive from the supporters.
“When you play for Aberdeen, there is an expectation to compete, win matches and challenge at the top end of the table and for trophies. That’s what attracted me back and I’m determined to play my part in delivering success for the Club.”
Olusanya will link up with his teammates later this week as preparations for the 2026/27 campaign get underway.
