Sports247 reports that Attahiru was equally ecstatic about the standard of facilities on offer for the competition, following a comprehensive inspection of the venue, where hugely talented players are battling for honors on sand.

The astute administrator emphasized the tour’s importance as a scouting ground for unearthing fresh national talent, then assured all participating teams, stakeholders, spectators and sponsors of a conducive environment and level playing field.

“The players are the major actors and our priority is to ensure they are comfortable. We are expecting the best, because this will serve as a platform to select players for African championships, both age-grade and senior categories,” Attahiru noted.

He urged all players to maintain a high level of discipline and showcase their best form throughout the tour, then praised the chairman of Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB) Beach Volleyball Commission, Engineer Musa Nimrod.

Attahiru applauded Engineer Nimrod for what he referred to as the amiable beach volleyball leader’s unwavering contribution to enhanced growth and development of the sport in the country and across Africa.
