Preparations for the upcoming international friendlies against Senegal gathered momentum on Wednesday as 17 players arrived at the Super Falcons camp in Ikenne.

The team opened camp with early arrivals including captain Asisat Oshoala, midfielder Shukurat Oladapo, and defender Kafayat Shittu, who were among the first players to report.
The camp received a major boost on Tuesday night with the arrival of eight more players.
Those who checked into camp included Joy Omewa, Tosin Demehin, Toni Payne, Blessing Ilivieda, Folashade Ijamilusi, Anderline Mgbechi, Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene, and Omorinsola Babajide.
Six additional players arrived early Wednesday morning to further swell the squad.
Christy Ucheibe, Glory Ogbonna, Blessing Nkor, Francisca Ordega, Comfort Erhabor, and Sikiratu Isah all joined their teammates in camp ahead today’s training sessions billed to start at 4 pm.
The growing number of players in camp has increased the intensity of preparations as the ten -time African champions continue fine-tuning strategies for the double-header against Senegal.
Members of the technical crew supervised light training drills and fitness routines as the players gradually settled into camp.
More invited players are still being expected to arrive before the team begins full tactical sessions.
The friendlies against Senegal are expected to provide the coaching crew with an opportunity to assess the squad ahead of forthcoming international competitions and qualifiers.
The Super Falcons remain focused on maintaining their dominance in African women’s football while building a competitive squad capable of challenging strongly on the global stage.
