Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi has hailed Nigeria’s performance following an entertaining 2-2 draw against Poland National Football Team in an international friendly played in Abuja.

Despite fielding several new faces, Nigeria produced an encouraging display against the European side, with goals from Terem Moffi and Paul Onuachu ensuring the Super Eagles earned a share of the spoils.

Speaking after the match, Ndidi expressed satisfaction with the team’s overall performance, particularly their dominance during large periods of the contest.
“It was a good game, it was brilliant. We dominated the game.”
The midfielder highlighted Nigeria’s impressive first-half display and explained how the tactical approach changed after the break.
“The first half was an amazing game and in the second half we tried to sit back a bit, to defend a bit and then press. Entirely, it was a good game.”
The Besiktas star also reiterated the team’s winning mentality and commitment to delivering positive performances whenever they step onto the pitch.
“We always try as much as possible to get a win in every game. With our philosophy, with our vision, and most importantly, it is to try and give a good game, try to be at our best and try to see if we win the game.”
