Former assistant coach of the Nigeria women’s national football team, Rolandson Odey, has praised the decision to organize friendly matches against Senegal ahead of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

Reacting to the announcement of the squad for the double-header encounters, Odey described the development as a positive step for the Super Falcons as they prepare to defend their continental title.
“The friendly matches are a very good development for the team,” Odey said.
