Fulham of England midfielder, Alex Iwobi has declared himself fit and ready to feature for Nigeria in Wednesday’s international friendly against Poland, Sports247 reports.

Should Iwobi get to feature during the upcoming friendly in Warsaw, it would be his 100th cap for the Super Eagles, as he joins Vincent Enyeana, Joseph Yobo and Ahmed Musa in Nigeria’s class of centenarians.
The former Arsenal of England under-21 team’s captain is glad with his availability and expressed delight that he has overcome the knock that knocked him out of action towards the end of this season.
Although many observers believe the former Everton dazzler had his best season ever in the English Premier League, Iwobi confessed that the going was not as smooth as it appeared to be.
He admitted that Fulham also fell short of their aspirations, but enthused that The Cottagers will do better next time out, even as he looked foreard to getting a rosy outing with the Super Eagles in Poland.
“(It’s) a season of ups and downs. Of course, we wanted to secure a European spot, but it wasn’t meant to be. Nonetheless, we’ve got to be proud of what we achieved and how far Fulham has come.
“Good season overall. We always strive to achieve more to improve. Hopefully, next season, we can do that. I can do that again personally as well. Personally try to get more stats, more goals.
“I’m grateful to be back and fit after injury. I was able to finish the season feeling good. Of course, I’ve got to get ready for the international break,” Iwobi said on Alexander Yaa Digg podcast.
