An informed military source told Tasnim News Agency that the recent drone attack targeting the United Arab Emirates was carried out by Israel rather than Iran.
According to the source, Israel is allegedly attempting to provoke the UAE into taking a more hostile regional stance against Iran and other countries in the Islamic world.
The source claimed that while Iran has acknowledged carrying out some retaliatory measures against the UAE during the regional confrontation, certain attacks attributed to Tehran were in fact conducted by Israel.

The Iranian source also stated that Tehran does not seek hostility with neighbouring countries and believes regional states should cooperate to secure the Gulf region and use its resources for the benefit of their populations.
Two days earlier, the UAE Ministry of Defence announced that Emirati air defence systems intercepted three drones that entered UAE airspace from the western border.
According to the ministry, two drones were destroyed, while a third struck a power generator outside the protected perimeter of the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant in the Al Dhafra region.
Tasnim noted that, unlike previous incidents, the UAE statement did not explicitly say the drones had entered from Iranian territory.
