Iraq announced that oil revenues for April exceeded $1 billion, according to figures released by the state-owned SOMO on Monday.
In its monthly report, SOMO said total Iraqi crude oil exports for April surpassed 9.88 million barrels from fields in Basra, Kurdistan Region and Kirkuk.
The company stated that these exports generated revenues of more than $1.087 billion, with an average daily export rate exceeding 329,000 barrels.
According to the report, exports of Basra crude exceeded 4.58 million barrels during the month.
SOMO added that exports of Kurdistan crude through the Port of Ceyhan amounted to 339,064 barrels, while Kirkuk crude exports via Ceyhan reached approximately 4.95 million barrels.
The figures were released amid continued regional disruptions affecting energy markets and export routes across the Gulf and Middle East.
