The Saudi First Division League serves as the second tier of football in Saudi Arabia and continues to attract several emerging talents from across the world, including promising Nigerian players seeking opportunities abroad.
For Usulor, the appearance represented his first senior start after previously making his professional debut earlier in the season against Al-Faisaly FC.

The defender has now recorded two senior appearances for Al-Jabalain’s first team, underlining the club’s growing confidence in his development and potential.

Usulor joined the “Al-Jabaliyyūn” family last year from a Nigeria-based academy, initially beginning his journey within the club’s U18 setup.

His strong performances and consistency at youth level quickly earned him promotion to the U21 side, where he continued to impress coaches with his defensive composure, athleticism, and ability to contribute in attacking situations.

Beyond his defensive responsibilities, the Nigerian youngster also contributed goals and assists for both the U18 and U21 teams during the campaign, showcasing his versatility and effectiveness in key moments.

Observers close to the club have praised his rapid adaptation to football in Saudi Arabia, particularly his maturity and willingness to improve within a competitive environment.

His progression from youth football to the senior team within a short period further highlights the defender’s growing reputation as one of the promising Nigerian talents developing abroad.

Having already represented Nigeria at U17 level, Usulor remains one of the young defenders Nigerian football followers will continue to monitor closely as he gains more experience in professional football.

With his first professional start now achieved, the next challenge for the talented centre-back will be establishing himself consistently within Al-Jabalain’s senior squad as he continues his development in Saudi football.
