Boxing coach Ben Davison, who has trained both Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury, believes Joshua is making the right decision by taking a tune-up fight before a potential Fury showdown, citing the immense pressure involved.
Despite their shared history, Davison views a fight between them as a professional scenario, telling The Ring Magazine that the rivalry aspect is not difficult to manage.
“It’s not a hard one. There’s a rivalry, but they’re in business together. They’re going to earn a fortune.

“They’re too quality, experienced fighters, that’s who they are, that’s what they love to be honest with you, and this is the biggest stage of all.
“When the fight comes round, it’s going to stop the country, and it’s a huge part of their legacy, so in a way I’m buzzing for them both.”
Joshua must first get through Kristian Prenga in July before finally stepping into the ring with Fury, who beat Arslanbek Makmudov back in April.
