Paris Saint-Germain have been dealt an injury blow ahead of the UEFA Champions League final later this month. The French giants could be without a few big names when they face Arsenal at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest, Hungary, on Saturday, May 30.
Before Luis Enrique and Mikel Arteta lock horns, they have business to attend to on home soil. On Wednesday night, PSG have the opportunity to win Ligue 1 with a game to spare when they take on RC Lens at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis.
Then, on Sunday evening, they will play Paris FC at Stade Jean-Bouin, which is quite literally a stone’s throw from the Parc des Princes. PSG will then have 12-days to prepare for the Champions League final at the end of the month.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are set to face Burnley at the Emirates Stadium on Monday night before playing the final game of the Premier League season on Sunday afternoon. Unlike the Parisians, the Gunners will only have five days to prepare for the clash in Budapest.

Although Enrique’s side will have longer to gear up for the Champions League final, they could be without a few key players. In an official statement on Tuesday morning, PSG confirmed that Kang-In Lee has suffered a knock.
It revealed that six others are also nursing injuries. The statement reads: “Following a blow to his left ankle received during the match against Brest, Kang-In Lee will work indoors in the coming days.

“We know how difficult and challenging every opponent is at this level,” said the Spaniard. “[Atletico] are an incredible team. The way they compete, the solution they have, the answer they have to everything you try to do to them immediately.
“It’s incredible. That’s the reason they’ve been there. They’ve done an outstanding job there. The margins are so small, and tonight they’ve gone for us.”
Then, the following evening, when PSG slipped past the Bundesliga champions, Enrique heaped praise on Arsenal. He told TNT Sports : “They did it great, they deserve to go to the final. They have been performing the whole season at a high level; they were unbelievable during the whole season.”
Reflecting on his team’s performance, Enrique added: “We did it. We are excited. I am happy. It was tough, tough from the first minute, but I think we managed the match in the right way.
“We scored a goal and it was very important. We kept our calm. Bayern Munich kept the ball and they are a great side with a lot of quality players. It was very tough, but we are very happy.”
