Flamingos Step Up Guinea Preparations with Third Test Match in Camp

Nigeria’s U17 women’s team, the Flamingos, will continue their build-up to the upcoming qualifiers with another preparatory fixture, this time against Real Rising Stars U-15 (boys).

The friendly is scheduled for Thursday, April 26, at the FIFA Goal Project, with kickoff set for 4pm. It will serve as the team’s third test match in camp as preparations intensify ahead of their crucial clash against Guinea.

The Flamingos head into the encounter in excellent form, having recorded two emphatic victories in previous test games. They opened camp with a dominant 6-0 win over Generation Next, before following it up with an even more convincing 7-0 triumph against Nazareth Queens.

These results underline the team’s attacking sharpness and defensive solidity, as the coaching crew continues to fine-tune tactics, assess player combinations, and build match fitness.

Facing a U-15 boys’ side presents a different kind of challenge, expected to test the Flamingos’ physicality, speed, and adaptability — key elements required at international level.

With momentum firmly on their side, the Flamingos will be aiming to maintain their impressive form while gaining valuable match experience ahead of the decisive fixtures against Guinea. As preparations enter the final phase, all eyes remain on the team’s readiness to deliver on the continental stage.
