Man Utd interested in Tanaka

Man Utd are eyeing a shocking move for Leeds midfielder Ao Tanaka, TEAMtalk claims.

The Red Devils have been “alerted” to the possibility that the Japan international could be available for a cut price this summer, following on from reports that Tanaka could be tempted to leave Leeds due to not being a guaranteed starter under Daniel Farke.

Naturally, Leeds are reluctant to sell to their rivals, and they have reportedly not ruled out the possibility of offering the 27-year-old a new contract. Tanaka, who is also fielding interest from Germany, would prefer to stay in the Premier League this summer.

Man Utd priced out of Anderson deal?

Nottingham Forest could try to price Man Utd and Man City out of a deal for Elliot Anderson, according to David Ornstein.

The City Ground outfit want to make Anderson the most expensive midfielder in Premier League history, which means that they value him at over €120 million. Combined with his already sizeable salary, this would make signing him incredibly expensive.

“If they sell, Forest want to break the Premier League transfer record for a midfielder, and if they stay true to that, will both of those suitors be willing to pay it? Anderson also already earns in excess of £100,000 per week, so you’re going to need to offer him an extremely high salary,” Ornstein said.

Garnacho could be sold

Chelsea could offload summer signing Alejandro Garnacho after just 12 months, as per The Sun.

The Argentina international has endured a tricky debut campaign at Stamford Bridge, which has resulted in persistent transfer speculation. The rumour mill was recently ignited by Garnacho himself when he deleted all Chelsea content from his TikTok page.

It is claimed that Chelsea are indeed willing to listen to offers for Garnacho this summer as head coach Liam Rosenior has “reservations” about the 21-year-old winger.

Chelsea could still sign El Mala

Chelsea still have a chance of signing Koln wonderkid Said El Mala this summer, Christian Falk reports.

Brighton have been pushing hard for his signature since last summer and are believed to be in pole position to sign him this year, with the player keen on the move. However, talks with Koln are proving difficult.

The Bundesliga side are holding out for a transfer fee in the region of €50m, which Brighton are simply unwilling to pay. As a result, the door remains ajar for Chelsea and Newcastle to make a move for El Mala.

Galatasaray want Fernandes

Galatasaray are plotting an ambitious approach for Man Utd captain Bruno Fernandes, Takvim states.

The interest is being driven by president Dursun Ozbek, who is looking to get re-elected and is planning sweeping changes at the club. This is not the first time Galatasaray are interested in Fernandes, either.

While there is no guarantee of a move materialising, with the Portuguese believed to be keen to play Champions League football with Man Utd again, the Turkish giants will make contact with him this summer to sound out a move.
