Liverpool legend Alisson could follow Andy Robertson and Mohamed Salah out the door as he is “open” to a move to Juventus.

The Brazil international has been one of the best goalkeepers of the past decade. At 33, Alisson should still be at the peak of his powers, but repeated injury problems have taken their toll.

While he is still undeniably world-class on his day, the shot-stopper has not quite been the same for some time now. His decline has been exacerbated by Liverpool’s horrendous defending this season.

Heading into the summer, Alisson’s future at Liverpool has increasingly come into question. With his contract set to expire in 2027, the Anfield club could look to cash in on the goalkeeper.

His departure would follow a trend of club legends departing. Andy Robertson and Mohamed Salah have already announced that they will leave Liverpool this summer, so the upcoming transfer window will again be one of major personnel turnover.

Juventus want Alisson

If Alisson is indeed to depart, a return to Serie A looks the most likely outcome for the former AS Roma star. Juventus have made him their top target for the goalkeeper position, Tuttomercatoweb reports.

The Bianconeri have been linked with the 33-year-old for weeks, but it is now claimed that Alisson is receptive to their interest. He would be open to making the move to Turin this summer.

The player is ready to greenlight a transfer. However, several question marks remain. For one, it is not clear what Liverpool are planning to do with their goalkeeper department. If Alisson leaves, a replacement will have to be signed.

Moreover, there is the issue of his salary. The Old Lady can’t match his current Liverpool pay package, so the goalkeeper would have to agree to fit into the club’s wage structure. Given that he is still under contract, Juventus would also have to pay a transfer fee.

Still, the fact that Alisson is open to the move is good news for the Italian giants, who are already “working” to agree a salary package with the veteran shot-stopper. The fact that they are offering him a three-year deal despite his age will also appeal to him.

Alisson could quite conceivably become the next Liverpool legend to bring the curtain down on his illustrious Anfield career.
