Palmer responds to rumours

Chelsea superstar Cole Palmer has shut down reports that he could leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

It has been reported that the England attacker was keen to return to Manchester, where Man Utd had made him a key target to potentially replace captain Bruno Fernandes. However, Palmer insists that he is not looking to get out of Chelsea.

“Everyone just talks. When I see it, I just laugh,” Palmer told The Guardian. “Obviously, Manchester is my home. All my family are there, but I don’t miss it. Maybe I’ll miss it if I don’t go for three months or something. But then when I get home, I think there’s nothing there for me anyway.”

Man Utd have a key advantage over Chelsea in the race to sign Sunderland midfielder Noah Sadiki, according to Sacha Tavolieri.

The DR Congo international has emerged as a potential target for both clubs, and contact with his representatives dates back to at least December. Recently, Chelsea held fresh talks with him over a move.

However, Man Utd, who firmly remain in the mix to sign the 21-year-old, have the advantage of being almost guaranteed Champions League qualification, which makes them a significantly more attractive destination.

Rashford “at risk”

Man Utd loanee Marcus Rashford is “at risk” of being forced to return to Old Trafford this summer, as per Sport.

While Barcelona are open to keeping the England international, they will only be able to do so if the financial package fits their budget, which is currently not the case. As a result, Rashford may have no choice but to return to Man Utd after his loan.

The good news is that interim head coach Michael Carrick has not closed the door on the academy graduate being reintegrated into the first team next season, provided, of course, he gets the job permanently.

Camavinga latest

Arsenal and Man Utd are leading the race to sign Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, CaughtOffside claims.

Los Blancos are open to offers for the France international, despite the player’s desire to remain at the club. Reports in Spain suggest that Camavinga is on thin ice after his red card in the second leg of Real Madrid’s Champions League clash with Bayern.

Arsenal and Man Utd are currently said to be showing the strongest interest, while the attention from Chelsea and Tottenham is “limited.” PSG are also interested in bringing Camavinga back to France. The report even asserts that Barcelona could look into a deal.
