Henry Nwosu’s Burial Attracts Keen Attention From Imo State Commissioner For Sports

The forthcoming burial of former national team football star, Henry Nwosu has attracted keen attention from the commissioner for sports in Imo State, Honourable Obinna Evaristus Onyeocha (Onowu).

Sports247 reports that the burial is billed to take place on May 12th in Naze area of the Imo State capital, Owerri, with great expectations already spreading that it will be graced by highly-placed personalities from far and wide.

Honourable Onyeocha admitted in an exclusive interview with Sports247 that it promises to be a historic occasion and assured that the state government will not be left out of giving a befitting final farewell to a noble son of Imo State.

“Henry Nwosu is our own and the family came to visit me in my office to inform me sbout the butial plans. I’ve written to His Excellency about Nwosu’s death and we are officially aware of his burial.

“I can assure you that we are not going to leave it all to be handled by his family. That means it’s going to be a state burial and we are going to participate fully,” Honourable Onyeocha affirmed.
