Rosenior Reflects On Brief Stamford Bridge Tenure, Media Mockery

Paris FC head coach Liam Rosenior has spoken out against the personal mockery and media narrative that defined his brief, turbulent 107-day tenure at Chelsea.

The 42-year-old manager was appointed at Stamford Bridge on New Year’s Day following the departure of Enzo Maresca. Arriving with a strong reputation following a successful spell at RC Strasbourg under the BlueCo ownership group, Rosenior initially enjoyed a bright start in London before a sharp decline in results led to his dismissal after just four months in charge.

Now successfully rebuilding his managerial career in Ligue 1 with Paris FC, Rosenior reflected on his experience during an interview with French publication So Foot.

He highlighted how media scrutiny quickly snowballed during his spell in England, shifting focus away from pitch performances to his personal conduct and appearance.

“Actually, the moment that worried me the most was at the beginning, when we went through that five-game winning streak,” Rosenior explained.
